We return, now, to the Fairy Princess. You’ll remember that her objective, as board member of the Find A Prince charity was to solicit enough money from her friends and associates to keep the charity providing princes for all the fairy princesses in the realm for many years to come.
But what we haven’t seen until this time was the manner in which she persuaded all with whom she cam in contact that THIS was the RIGHT place to give their money. So let’s eavesdrop on a conversation she had with one of the Knights of the Realm.
This particular Knight wasn’t so remarkable, but the Fairy Princess had known him for quite a long time, and one day she took him aside and said to him, “Look Fred. Do you see what I’m doing over there in my fiefdom? I’m getting all my friends and associates to contribute to this new charity I set up called “Find A Prince” charity for the benefit of all the realm’s fair maidens.”
“Yeah,” said the Knight. “I seen youse was up to somethin’ over there. What gives?”
So the Fairy Princess told him: “Look, Fred, I’ve been around here since forever, you know? You know me, you trust me, don’t you? Remember how I got you out of that moat, away from the alligators just in time? Boy! you sure looked a sight with all that moat mud all over you! But, face it, you’re alive, right?”
“Yeah, I remember that! Lucky you came along when you did there, Fairy Princess,” said the Knight.
“You’re right about that,” said the Fairy Princess. “And I’ll tell you another thing. Not only did I save your butt from the alligator, but I also figured out that due to some kind of curse throughout the entire kingdom all the Charming Princes have been turned into frogs at an early age. So now all the Fairy Princesses, like I used to be, have no way to get their Princes, and they’re all pining away and looking completely thin, wasted and sickly. And besides that, they have a wicked bad attitude. Really stinks! Know what I mean, Fred?”
“Well, yes, now that you mention it, I have noticed a lot of pale, droll faces on those Fairy Princesses lately. What’s up with that? Really makes the kingdom a bad place to inhabit these days. Is there a way to get rid of that problem?”
“Well, I’ll tell you Fred, and this is why I came over here today to see you. You see there’s a cure for this. And I found out that if my staff can all touch enough of the realm’s frogs, we can turn each one of those ugly ole frogs into a Charming Prince and THAT brightens another Fairy Princess’s life. So, over at the Find a Prince Charity, we’re able to bring a lot of pleasure to a lot of people, you know. If we’re successful, one of these days the whole kingdom, and all its Fairy Princesses, will be a heck of a lot better off. Know what I mean? And not only the Fairy Princesses themselves, but their mothers and fathers, who are getting’ tired of putting up with them, and also the neighbors, and even the other knights, and everybody down at the Grogg Shoppe.
“You see, Fred, we have a whole plan for this, and everything’s worked out. We’ve got the method, the technique. We’ve got the latest in new Frog-Modification Technology. We’ve invested in a ton of make-up and dance lessons for the Fairy Princesses. We know how to properly introduce Charming Princes to the Fairy Princesses in large numbers, without the usual trauma associated with parental approvals and dowries and such. We know this can work and we’ve gotten the results to prove it. All we need now is the money to make it happen. See what I mean, Freddy, ole boy?
“Well, that sounds like mighty fine work you’re doing there, Fairy Princess,” said the Knight. “You’ve been having some success at this Frog-Rubbin’ stuff, have you?”

Fairy Princess Demonstrates Case for Support -- Part 1 of 2
